Pretty in Polka Dots

My sweet Aubrey is modeling our first 4th of July design, and it's only fitting, as her birthday is indeed July 4th! These halter dresses are some of my favorites to make because of their versatility. They can be worn as dresses and later as shirts, and they look adorable at any age. At Sweet Baby A, we love, love, love making handmade flowers, so we added this removeable flower pin (with just a little touch of bling) that can be used to dress up even the simplest white tank. Check back soon for more girly girl outfits...and a little something for the boys too;)

Pictures...Finally!

Well, since my last post, I have managed to create something every day: a bubble suit, a pillowcase romper, an a-line knot jumper, a pair of ruffle capris, a halter top...the list goes on! As a result, my house has been slightly neglected, so I'll probably need to take today off and clean, but first we have to hit up Hancock's Memorial Day sale this morning to buy more fabulous fabrics. Tomorrow, though, we'll be posting pictures of some adorable 4th of July outfits. Now that I have a new card reader for my computer, I can finally share photos of all of these things, as well as post our first tutorial! We are totally excited to have our first orders coming in since setting up our Facebook page and Etsy shop, so check back soon for our "Sweet Baby A Giveaway" contest details to celebrate our launch!

Sweet Baby A...Project a Day

Wow! It's only Tuesday, but it feels like it should be Friday. I am sooo busy, and to add to the chaos, I've decided to start Sweet Baby A...Project a Day. I figure I can find at least 30 minutes each day where I can take a little time for myself to create something. So, tonight I will be making a sun suit for my sweet little Molly. A friend of mine made some of these for her daughter, and I thought they were the cutest things I had ever seen. So, when I came across a pattern at http://littlelizardking.com/, I knew I had to try it. I'm hoping my version looks as adorble as the examples, because I would love to add it to our Etsy shop. Speaking of...check this evening to see our first listings!
